This balloon motif is characteristic of the "ballomania" that swept through the Decorative Arts following the first flights of the Montgolfier brothers in 1783. This arabesque panel reproduces the balloon used at the Tuileries on December 1, 1783. This reference, available in several colors, completes the range of colors already available in the Braquenié wallcoverings.
