In the 19th century, the Silk Road desert oases of Bokhara, Samarkand and Kashgar were famous for their fine silk ikats. The design has been sourced from the GP & J Baker archive and the original version dates from 1906. Printed on a lighter weight linen, ‘Ikat Bokhara Linen’ offers an update to the highly successful ‘Ikat Bokhara’ design from the ‘Chifu’ collection.
