‘Tetbury Stripe’ was taken from a late 18th century watercolour design which is hidden within a pattern book in the GP & J Baker archive. Originally used for ladies dresses from 1795 onwards, a stylised leafy stem forms the heart of this versatile stripe and offers relaxed, effortless elegance.
