Charmingly informal just like its namesake, ‘Symington’ features a delicate leafy coral stripe adorned with pretty miniature flowers. Taken from a small watercolour design which is dated from 1760-1790, the design would have been used to print onto lightweight cotton or muslin for ladies clothes.
