Akame is famous for its forty-eight waterfalls, some of the most beautiful in Japan. Each of the strikingly beautiful waterfalls bears a name and flows into the valley’s gorges. They are depicted using a silky viscose embroidery yarn on a natural linen and cotton base. The never-ending movement of the falling water is represented by the fringed effect create by the cut-yarn technique. “Akame” is available in four colors : beige, bronze, nude and pebble-grey.
